Nick Giacoumakis is the founder and President of New England Investment and Retirement Group Inc (NEIRG). He grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and made southern New Hampshire his home. Early in his career, Nick discovered a passion in helping business professionals, entrepreneurs, companies, organizations, and individuals from all walks of life create lifelong strategies to ensure the growth and protection of the fruits of their labor. It was this passion that led Nick to open NEIRG in 1995, and he founded this company with the mission to help clients pursue financial independence through unbiased, objective guidance and bringing value through communication, education and exceptional service. Nick has enjoyed more than 20 years of overseeing an incredible team that is dedicated to holding true to this mission.
In addition to wealth management and financial planning at NEIRG, Nick also provides services to help business owners develop a strategy for the sale of their business. For business owners, their most valuable asset is their company, and Nick takes pride in helping them take the critical steps to make sure they have a plan that will successfully carry them from the beginning through the final phase of their business sale.
Outside of his business operations, Nick spends time working in philanthropy. As a board member of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire, he’s had the opportunity to support their valuable work, which is to guide volunteers to serve as advocates for neglected and abused children caught up in the court system. CASA of NH exists to help protect the most vulnerable children across the state; this group puts tremendous effort in their mission and Nick is proud to be part of their organization.
When he has an opportunity to enjoy some downtime, Nick enjoys embracing those moments with his family as well as carving a bit of time for boating, skiing, traveling, and reading. Nick has appreciated a great number of books that have been a source of inspiration and guidance over the years. A few of Nick’s all-time favorites:
The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino
7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki & Sharon Lechter
